I was in the hospital for surgery and was on IV antibiotics then sent home with antibiotics. I’m diabetic and I always get these infections. My mouth really hurts. I would like some home remedies since this is a frequent problem for me.
OTC stuff doesn’t work for me. Nystatin and Diflucan work but they’re prescriptions. I was just looking for an alternative.
for oral remedies you can try betadine gargle solution and many vaginal wash are out in the market today. you can choose one of them. it works as long as you have proper hygiene care.

well there is always over the counter products. I have heard that plain yogurt can work well in the mouth and vaginal area for a yeast infection. Hope this helps a tad.

There are are many products like Monistat for vaginal yeast infection. Don’t use the one dose type they don’t work very well, Oral candidiasis will respond to nystatin lotion or powder swished around with water but I am not sure about over the counter or home remedies. Sometimes it can be made worse by not being effective enough and allowing another strain to take over. I think a doctor should prescribe for the oral problem so you are out of pain quickly.
