Yeast infection help?

I found out 3 days ago I have a yeast infection and bv. I have monistat and its pretty almost gone. But now my boyfriend has a redish rash on a dick. I told him it could be tranmisted through sex. Should I give him my cream to stop the itching? I also read he should soak it in yogurt, but for how long?
And is a man yeast infection as bad a girls? Will it go away without anything or should he buy something?

He can use the cream too and you may need another course if he has passed it back to you. Use condoms until you are both clear. If he is intact thrush can cause rips in his foreskin. If circumcised it can also cause discomfort, redness and even tears in the skin.

Consistent yeast infections…?

I hope someone has had this extremely annoying problem before. I was on the pill for two years, but went off because in reaction to the pill i was getting extremely bad yeast infections. I have had diflucan, and it is the only thing that cures it, but i have to use it along with Monistat. I have been off the pill for about a year and a half. The other problem was i had somehow given the infection to my bf (who is uncircumcised). His doc told him that he would have it forever, so basically whenever we have unprotected sex (which isn’t often) i always come up with a yeast infection again, even though he has a special cream that he has continuously used. I was wondering if ANYONE had had this problem before, because neither of our doctors had heard of this before. I have read that men can get yeast infections, but it is very rare. We have both been tested for STDs multiple times because of this and everything is negative. Andwe lost our virginity to each other, andhaventhadsexw/ne1else!

His doctor was wrong. My friend had this problem for a long time. It ended up that her and her husband were just passing the yeast infection back and forth to each other. His doctor gave him a cream that cured his infection for good. And she also was treated and now takes Azo yeast to prevent getting them in the further. You should really see another doctor. It is not that uncommon.

How to treat yeast in men?

Well I have a friggin yeast infection I think…

But I can’t afford to go to the doc, I don’t ave insurance or anything + I’m only 15… My parents won’t take me either because they have too many bills racked up there as is.

SO, i need any kind of home remedy for it, asap. ANYTHING, please! anything to get rid of it.

Garlic capsules. Vitamin B complex.

Before you go saying wait a minute, B comp. has yeast in it – yes, it does! BUT… there’s over 100 types of yeast out there – candida is part of it.

Lots of water, and limit your junk food/sweetie intake.

I found after being off alcohol for several years – and after a hot summer down under – I bought a few beers. It brought it back on. So no more beer for me. :(

Still haven’t quit real coffee, though.

PS you may also need a high quality acidophilus capsule – one that DOESN’T ‘melt’ in the stomach from the acid, but makes it all the way to the intestines.

My bf has symptoms of yeast infection (red tip kinda itchy) and we think that could be the problem. However, although we have unprotected sex (no condom), and we thought i would be then the source of the infection…. I have not had yeast infection in years! I only had it once, years ago. Questions> How could he have it if I dont? and maybe could it be that is NOT yeast infection but an irritation? what possibly could it be?

Yeah I know a guy that happened to my friend it is like jock itch.

Do Guys Get Yeast Infections?

Obviously, guys don’t get vaginal yeast infections. But balanitis (pronounced: bal-uh-nie-tis), an infection of the head of the penis, can be caused by the same candida that causes infections in girls. Guys who have diabetes are more prone to this infection. A guy who gets balanitis may not have any symptoms or the tip of the penis may become red and sore or itchy. Some guys might have a slight discharge as well.

Guys who are not circumcised need to take extra care to clean properly beneath their foreskins. The warm, moist folds of the foreskin are the perfect environment for yeast infections to thrive. Keeping the area clean and dry may help prevent an infection, but if symptoms do show up, a trip to the doctor will solve the problem.
