I had leep procedure done in Jan -cinII- got a clean margin. Have experienced yeast infections monthly since May. (Now August) Not sure if it goes away completely or if symptoms get less noticeable. LNP said sometimes happens following procedure. I had never heard of this before. Just needing a little reassurance that this too shall pass.
To answer your question there is most likely no connection between your leep and your yeast problem. The simple fact of the time span should tell you that. Your leep would have been long healed and forgotten before the yeast problem started. Considering the time of year I might suggest that you have added more sugared drinks and foods to your diet this summer which can cause yeast problems to increase. Also if you are treating these yeasts OTC you might not be completely eradicating it and even though you see relief it comes back easily. On the other hand you could have a bacterial infection that is simply mimicking a yeast. You really should be seeing a doctor for proper evaluation and treatment.
