The reason being is you never know when it's gone. you can carry the infection for al ong time even if you don't have symptoms so you two pass it back and fourth (lets hope you haven't been having oral). Yeast infections take around 2-3 weeks with anti-biotics to fully go away. You need to talk to a doctor. Never self treat... you could have a whole different type of infection. So don't self diagnose let alone self treat. Talk to a doctor and get proper medication. What if it's' not a yeast infection? What if it's something else spreading in your body. THEN you won't be able to pay for where that is going to go. Stop having sexual contact and get it looked at.
