I've had more yeast infections than I can count and a yeast infection has never effected when I start my period.

100% yes! Yeast infection affect your hormones, etc. And when your hormones are wacky that will definitely affect your period.

Yup! Whenever your body is suffering an infection, your reproductive system may put everything on hold. Its natures way of keeping you from getting pregnant if you are currently suffering from an infection.

Can a yeast infection affect when you start your period?
I’ve had a yeast infection for the past couple days and I’ve been treating it with Clotrimazole to kill the fungus. What’s weird is that I’ve had symptoms for my period for the psat week now, and I haven’t started yet. Could this be a result of my yeast infection?
