you are more likely to get them during pregnancy due to hormone fluxuations and u are not allowed to treat them, bummer…….

It is not always a sign, but they do tend to occur more often during pregnancy, due to the hormone imbalance. Your body is going to be all 'whacked' out for a while. I had 2 YI's in my last pregnancy, my Dr. told me to treat it with Monistat 7. But you should go into your Dr. to make sure that a YI is all that it is. Good Luck.

For certain people it is a sign. I know for me I never had a yeast infection until I got pregnant and bam I had them so often while pregnant I could keep the monistat company in business by myself. The docs told me it had to do with the hormones and increased blood flow and moisture that exists in pregnancy. But it could just be one of those things. I have had 6 pregnancies and carried 5 almost to term. I would contact your doctor and see what they say.

It's not a definite sign, but they seem to happen more frequently because your body's hormones are insane, and that can throw off your natural pH balance.
